Description
A quarter is half of a half of beef; perfect for your small family. Each quarter is approximately 100-135 pounds (Hanging Weight) of our delicious, healthy meat. We mix the quarters evenly between the front and back of the animal, so each quarter has all your favorite cuts of grass fed Angus beef.
Each Quarter is sold at $6.45 per pound based on the Hanging Weight of the animal. The price listed is an estimate, we will bill you based on the actual Hanging Weight of the individual animal.
How is the hanging weight price reflected in the finished meat price? Our price is based on the hanging weight of the carcass before it is processed into the individual cuts. Our USDA processor weighs the carcass by the half. We pay the processing fees based on this weight and price the beef by this same weight. The $6.45 per pound price based on the hanging weight translates to an average of about $10.25 per lb. for the finished cuts once the bone and excess fat is discarded. The price of $750.00 is an estimate. When you place your order we will send you a final billing with the exact price using the USDA official Hanging Weight of the animal.

You may pick up your quarter at the butcher shop in beautiful Bow, Washington (approximately 2 hours north of Seattle) or monthly local delivery is available at central designated locations in the greater Seattle, Washington areas.
