A quarter is half of a half (sometimes called a "side") of beef; perfect for your small family. Each quarter is approximately 110-130 pounds Hanging Weight of our delicious, healthy meat. We mix the quarters evenly between the front and back of the animal, so each quarter has all your favorite cuts of grass fed Angus beef.
The size of each animal will vary (+- 20 lbs) but typically a quarter of a beef includes:
- New York Steaks
- Tenderloin Steaks
- Ribeye Steaks
- Tri Tip or Skirt Steaks
- Top Sirloin Steaks
- Top Round Steaks
- Flank or Flat Iron Steaks
- Assorted Roasts (Eye of Round, Sirloin Tip, Boneless Chuck, Cross Rib)
- Short Ribs
- Back Ribs
- Stew Meat
- Ground Beef (1 lb. pkgs)
Our price is based on the hanging weight of the carcass before it is processed into the individual cuts. Our USDA processor weighs the carcass by the half. We pay the processing fees based on this weight and price the beef by this same weight. The price of $786.38 is an estimate. When the USDA official Hanging Weight of the animal is reported to us, we will send you a final billing via PayPal with the exact price.
You may pick up your quarter by appointment at our beautiful ranch here in the Skagit Valley (2 1/2 hours north of Seattle) or monthly local delivery is available at central designated locations in the greater Seattle, Washington area.
